The team were able to defeat the previous leaders, headed by Mavis Haselwood, 5-3sets to edge one point in front.

Luke Morris’ team were able to cement their fourth place position with a defeat of Matthew Miller’s team with the final score of 5-3sets.

In the remaining match up John Page’s team proved too strong for Sue Rees’ team as they dominated throughout to win the afternoon 7-1sets.

The competition continues this Saturday at 1pm with Matthew Miller’s team having the bye.

Congratulations to Bryce Stapleton and James Gibson who were awarded prizes at last Saturday morning’s coaching for excellent sportsmanship and improvement. Rachel Skinner and Sam Robinson won the awards on Saturday and will be able to choose their prize at junior coaching this Saturday.
