Westpac charity bowls day

21/08/2008 10:39:00 AM
On Sunday we had a charity day to aid the Westpac Helicopter Service.

The day was run by Peter Willott, who is doing a mountain bike ride from Glen Innes to Tamworth via Moree.

Numbers were down on the day, but Peter had organized some marvelous prizes and would like to thank all the local businesses who supported him, and with so many prizes just about everyone was a winner on the day.

Club championship nominations are open so get your teams in before they close, any enquiries contact Neil Cameron at the club.

16/12/2008 | So we now have desperate parents attempting to bribe teachers to get their children into a selective high school. What a sad indictment of our education policies, the holy grail of which is parental choice.
