Ladies back at best

Glen’s Ladies OzTag team was simply too quick for a determined Guyra team and ran out 11 - 5 winners.

The Magpies led by three tries after ten minutes with a double to Courtney Grange and a long range effort to Kirsty Grange. Playmaker Megan Fuller got the first of her double while Kate Fakes also crossed for a good try.

Glen led 5 - 2 at the break and got off to a great second half start when the ball was kicked dead from the kick-off and Fiona Williamson scampered over in the first minute. Fiona dominated the next period of play with further tries in the sixth and seventh minute plus a fourth in the fifteenth minute.

Megan Fuller got her double with a nice darting run through the line while Courtney Grange completed her hat-trick late in the game.

The Glen girls are in third place in the OzTag competition and are the only team to lower the colours of competition leaders, Inverell.
